Your day on Straddie

• North Gorge Walk, Point Lookout. One of Australia's best headland walks. Look out for turtles, dolphins and manta rays in the water below, and humpback whales from mid-May to October.


• Point Lookout. Sweeping ocean views from the island's most easterly point.


• Cylinder Beach. A sheltered, patrolled beach that's perfect for a swim.


• Amity Point. A laid-back village on the bay side of the island, often visited by dolphins.

Good to know

• Every passenger, including children and infants, must have their own booked seat. This is required under Queensland transport regulations, so infants can't travel on a lap.


• Children are priced the same as adults because each child takes a full seat in our 11-seat van.


• Bring swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, a hat, comfortable walking shoes and your refillable water bottle.
